Post-(Post?)-Apocalypse Solarpunk
Climate apocalypse happened. We couldn't stop it. A lot of a bad stuff happened and those with enough money or power fled to Mars. The rest of us were left to fend for ourselves. That was ~400 years ago. We survived—and eventually thrived.
Mushroom-based Internet
The Internet as we know it no longer exists, but the MESHnet has taken it's place. Wychroot fungi has meshed with 21st century networking equipment to make a chaotic dreamscape of data, scrap code, and semi-sentient AI sprites.

Digital Tools
Roll dice directly in the rules and track your character and enclave. All code will be open-source and available for other Forged in the Dark hackers to make their own.
Additional Content
Planned content includes a fully layed-out book with art (PDF+print), more playbooks, enclaves and wychcrafts, and new modes of play. All text will be available free on wychroot.com.
Collective Worldbuilding
A community-editable wiki, Discord channels for in-character discussion, and an ever evolving digital map will allow you leave your own mark on the world of Wychroot for all to see.
